Music Director, Janice Moro

Janice, the Canadian Orpheus Male Choir's new Music Director is a graduate of the University of British Columbia Music School. The foundation of her music career began at the age of 6 when she commenced her piano leassons and has continued throughout her life. Janice is an accomplished musician at many levels. In addition to being an experienced choral director she is also a singer, songwriter and pianist.

Janice is a multi-faceted person with a wide range of interests, accomplishments and talents. Apart from her musical roles, she is the mother of two young children. She is also a professional fundraiser and is currently the Director of Development with the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario. She is deeply committed to charitable causes and, believing in making a difference for the better in the community, serves on various community boards.

Janice's wide range of musical experience and charitable interest are a compatible fit with COMC's own commitment to musical excellence and partnering with charities and other music organizations to make a difference for the better for our communities.

Assistant Music Director, Christopher Bee

Christopher Bee is graduate of Grand Valley State University in Michigan (BA - Music) and has been a featured soloist, as well as written many full chorus arrangements for, the Kalamazoo Singers (a semi-professional chorus in Kalamazoo MI.) as well as the GVSU Varsity Men. Chris has also been involved as a vocal instructor and performer with many opera and musical theater productions, including "Into the Woods" (The Baker 2009), "Jekyll & Hyde" (Vocal Director 2008), "Hair" (George Berger and Vocal Coach 2007) And "Jesus Christ Superstar" (Judas 2003 & Jesus 2005). He continues to pursue endeavors as an arranger, vocal instructor and performer in the Hamilton area where he lives with his wife, Nicole.

Accompanist, Rebecca Leung

Rebecca is COMC's new accompanist and a very talented pianist. She is a recent graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Music, London UK where she completed her Master in Piano performance with Merit. Prior to her 3 year studues in London and following her Bachlor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo, Rebecca completed her Bachelor of Music in Piano performance with Honours from Wilfrid Laurier University of Waterloo.

This young talented musician, while studying herself, has been teaching piano and preparing students for music competitions, performing and winning awards. Rebecca has performed for charities both as a soloist and in collaborative fundraising concerts. She has varied interests enjoying Literature, Philosophy, Psychology, gastronomy and travel.
